EVENT CENTRES
The Wingham Columbus Centre has the capacity to offer two different event areas which can accommodate both large and small events!
Our large hall can host approx. 450 people which makes this the perfect space to welcome a multitude of events such as: Weddings, Buck & Does, Dinners, Receptions, Funeral luncheons, Musical events & much more.
Our second event space is a very pleasant smaller area that holds approx. 40 people. This space would be great for hosting events such as: small business meetings, bridal/baby showers, birthday parties, offsite interviews & more.
In addition to these amazing event spaces the Columbus Centre is a turnkey facility! This means we do all the work! We do this by offering event set up, In-house catering, as well as we are licensed by the L.L.B.O.
OUTDOOR VENUE
New to the Columbus Centre is the availability of our outdoor green space! You can celebrate your next event surrounded by nature with the luxury of having a built in back up plan.
The rental of this space includes full access to the entire centre, so no need to worry about mother nature ruining your plans! The options for this full-service rental are completely customizable and stress free!
We offer in house catering, a transferable liquor license and fully accessible centre so you can choose exactly how you want your day to go.
Whether it be full outdoors or a mix of both your vision of your event will be a success !
CATERING
The Wingham Columbus Centre offers in-house catering lead by our main cook and organizer Susan Doig.
She has a passion for working with the community and serving the people in the area wonderful meals in house or take out!
With having 30 years or more experience in cuisine and catering she is happy to share her culinary skills to help your meal at your event be a memorable one.
Her experience in the kitchen allows her to work with you on creating a custom menu that suits your taste buds as well as your budget!
MEALS & SOUPS TOGO
In addition to catering the Wingham Columbus Centre now offers Meals & Soups to Go!
These are ready made frozen dinners and soups for those who are looking for a healthy homemade meal without the hassle of having to cook!
All meals are microwavable or pop out of container to cook in the oven.
The Meals are $10 each and come as a complete meal (main, rice or potato & vegetable).
Soups are $5 each.
